  1. Love your story! What a wonderful surprise from your mom. What I wouldn’t give to get such a sign! Mine does “visit” in my dreams periodically so for that I am grateful. Can’t wait to read more. Love you!

  3. Hi Nancy. I’m totally in sync with your thoughts about humor. The funniest things to me are the everyday moments and ironies of life.

By the way, I’m intrigued to learn more about your time as a photographer. Ken Stabler was one of my all-time favorite players. Our son played high school and lower-level college ball and is now working his way up the ladder (offensive line and strength and conditioning) as a college football coach.

    1. Thank you for letting me know my mother and granddaughter’s comments about life brightened your day. Yes, I do miss my mother, but she was devout and eager for her soul to be free. I have quoted her more than a few times in my blogs. In fact, my first blog, The Mini Miracle, is about her and it is the main reason I chose to do a Christian humor blog. God bless you, Patty!

  4. How lovely! I was genuinely happy to see your mother and your granddaughter. It’s good that you’re preserving her words and memory, even though I’m sure you miss your mother a lot.

    1. Thank you for sharing in the joy I had writing this blog and taking the time to comment. My mother always spoke whatever was on her mind and now her great-granddaughter does! All the best to you, Liza. ๐Ÿ™‚
